Background Screening Training

The EmployInsight Background Screening course will enable you to blend advanced social and human behavioural science with conventional pre-employment screening methods to identify ‘red flags’ and detect potential human risk and counterproductive behaviour. The course also covers interviewing techniques, provides best practices and guidelines for writing candidate reports and looks at various insightful case studies.

This four-week course combines two weeks of theory and two weeks of practical training. It can be presented onsite or at a venue of your choice.

In addition to the general background screening training course, we provide an in-house training programme to all our consultants.

The in-house training consists of:

  • 4-week theory and case studies, and
  • 2-week learnership in the field
  • under the supervision of a senior consultant.

Learn to leverage the top national criminal record-checking system to minimise workplace criminal behaviour risk. 

We provide institutions with training services on taking their fingerprints onsite and submitting them online for checking criminal records against the South African Police System (SAPS) database.

We can adapt fingerprinting training and automated criminal record-checking solutions to your company’s unique requirements. It can be presented onsite or at a venue of your choice.

On request, we can also facilitate the following:
  • Criminal record expungement for criminal records older than ten years.
  • Police clearance certificates when applying for a position abroad.
